Version 2.1.0 - July 2008 (Update/Important)

New features:

• Automatic Updates - allows you to keep the Smarty Uninstaller up to date with the latest updates and enhancements without visiting Smarty Uninstaller's web page.

• Application's analyzing process has been improved and should take less time than before.

Fixes:

• Few Windows Vista compatibility issues are fixed.

• Few minor bugs are fixed.

Version 2.0.0 - February 2008 (Update/Important)

New features:

* 'Tools > Add Application Manually...' - allows you to add the applications to the uninstall list manually by pointing Smarty Unistaller to the application's executable file (.exe). This feature is useful if you can't find some application in the Smarty Uninstaller or in the Windows Add/Remove but you have it on your hard drive.

* Advanced Details window improved, now you can view details for all application's without closing the window. Also, now it is resizable.

* Quick Application Tips - gives you fast access to the application's details and allows to view, copy and use hyperlinks.

* Application's analyzing process has been improved. Now Smarty Uninstaller is much faster and stable than previous versions.

* Bottom menu functionality changed: now it displays the Install Location of the selected application.

* 'Uninstall' menu > 'Delete from Installed Programs List' command - allows you to delete the application entry from the Installed Programs list.

Fixes:

* Many minor bugs are fixed.

* "Licensed to" information now available only from About menu.

* Balloon tips have been replaced with Quick Application Tips.

Version 1.8.0 - September 2007 (Update/Important)

New features:

* Improved Smarty Analyzer

* Windows XP/Vista 64-bit editions support

* User Interface improvements:
- all windows are resizable
- ability to hide additional menus at the main window
- remembers user defined windows/columns sizes for all windows

* User's style/language settings are unique for each Windows Account. You may define different settings (menu style, menu font, language, windows sizes, column sizes and etc.) separately for each user.

Version 1.7.2 - May 2007 (Update/Important)

This update is important only if you use Windows Vista.

In early versions:

• Smarty's Incomplete Uninstallations. Sometimes uninstallation can be ended unexpectedly in the middle of uninstallation process and will disappear or will restart your computer. This feature allows you to resume incomplete uninstallation and complete the uninstallation process. (implemented v1.7.0)

• Quick Links menu. This menu give's you quick access to the installation folder and different web links for selected application. (implemented v1.7.0)

• Shortcut Cleaner. Clean-up your PC from shortcuts pointing nowhere. (implemented v1.7.0)

• Menu Font Option. You may choose your own font for menus. (implemented v1.7.0)

• Smarty Groups - ability to add your own software groups like existing ones - "Installed Software", "Windows Updates", "System Components". For example: you can create your own group called "Games" and move all games you have installed to it. Your installed applications list will be more organized and useful. (implemented v1.5.0)

• Feature to enable/disable the view of Windows Updates and System Components. "Don't show Windows Updates" and "Don't show System Components" commands. (implemented v1.5.0)

• Add Application Manually - add applications manually to the installed software list (implemented v2.0.0)

• Change icon feature. You will be able to set your own icon for any application in the list. (implemented v1.5.0)

• Repair > Set valid path... feature will be enabled also for applications without detected path. (implemented v1.5.0)

• UI Graphic improvements. (implemented v1.5.0,v2.0.0)

• Smarty Uninstaller icon in Control Panel. (implemented v1.5.0)

• Advanced settings and customizations for Smarty Reports. (implemented v1.6.0)

• Smarty Startup Manager tool for managing Windows startup items (implemented v2.2.0)

In future versions:

• Install with snapshot. This will allow Smarty Uninstaller to monitor every change to your system during software installation.

• Uninstall of applications installed with snapshot.

• Major improvements of User Interface.
