Using Smarty Uninstaller > Main menu
1. File menu

Backup System Settings. Backup registry or create the System Restore Point (Windows XP only)
Restore. Restore registry backup or run System Restore
Create Report. Create useful report about installed applications on your Computer
Exit. Shutdown Smarty Uninstaller
2. Uninstall menu

Uninstall - Launch selected application Uninstaller and check for traces left after uninstallation
Force Uninstall - This will uninstall application with broken uninstaller or clean-up traces when application incorrectly removed.
Delete from Installed Programs List - Allows you to delete the application entry from the Installed Programs list.

If application is placed in "Possible Broken applications" category, additional items can be found in Uninstall menu.

Clean Up - cleans all traces left by this application in your system.
Repair > Select valid path - If application wasn't deleted (has been moved to another location) you can use this command to set new path.
3. Analyze menu

Full Analyze - Complete analyze. Detect all traces (registry, shortcuts, files)
Detect Registry Entries - Detect registry entries that belong to the selected application
Detect Shortcuts - Detect shortcuts that belong to the selected application
Detect Files... - Detect program files that belong to the selected application
4. Tools menu

Shortcut Cleaner... - helps you to remove
invalid shortcuts from the Start Menu and your hard drive(s).
Incomplete
Uninstallations...Sometimes uninstallation can be
ended unexpectedly in the middle of uninstallation process and will disappear or
will restart your computer. This feature allows you to resume incomplete
uninstallation and complete the uninstallation process.
Add
Application Manually... Allows you to add the applications to the
uninstall list manually by pointing Smarty Unistaller to the application's
executable file (.exe). This feature is useful if you can't find some
application in the Smarty Uninstaller or in the Windows Add/Remove but you have
it on your hard drive.

Advanced information about application.
Quick Links. Fast access to the application
directory and web links. 5. View

Icons . Show
installed application as big icons
Details . Show
installed application as small icons in details
Details (No Groups) - Show
installed application as small icons in details but without grouping (Installed
Software, Possible Broken and System components). In this mode you can sort
items in different ways (by Name, version, size, date, etc).
Quick Application Tips. If this feature enabled Smarty Uninstaller will show you
info tip with useful details about each application. See screenshot below.
Don't show Windows Updates. You can use this feature to filter out the
windows updates from the applications list.
Don't show Hidden Components. You can use this feature to filter out the
system hidden components from the applications list.
Groups. Groups allow you to organize applications list
into logical groupings. This will make your work more flexible and organized.
Change Icon. This command allows you to
set your own icon for any application in the list. Language.
Allows you to select different language for Smarty Uninstaller.
Menu Style. Allows you to select the menu
theme.
Menu Font. Allows you to
change the menu font. Set Double Click Action. Allows you to
select the action that starts when user makes a double click on application's
icon.
Refresh.
Refresh installed application list.
Full Refresh (Delete Smarty Cache). This
action is recommended when you experience some problems with installed
applications
list.

menu
Help Topics - Open Smarty Uninstaller Help file.
Show Tips on Startup - If checked Smarty Uninstaller will show different
useful tips on start-up
